Lamar Patterson, Tray Woodall and freshman guard James Robinson all reached double figures Saturday, and the Pitt Panthers (15-4 overall) evened their Big East Conference record at 3-3 with a 69-61 victory over visiting Connecticut.
Patterson hit for 14 points, while Woodall scored 13 and Robinson tallied a dozen.
UConn’s Ryan Boatwright led all scorers with 20 points for the Huskies (12-5 overall; 2-3 Big East). Omar Calhoun added 14.
Pitt plays at Providence (10-8; 2-4) on Tuesday night.
