John Jaso produced a third Pittsburgh run with a sacrifice fly.

Philadelphia starter Mark Leiter, Jr. (1-1) worked five-and-a-third innings, and allowed two runs and four hits.  The Phillies, only 28-54, outhit the Bucs 6-to-5.

The teams have split the first two games of their four-game series.  Game three is to be played Wednesday at 7:05 PM with Gerrit Cole (6-7; 4.51 ERA) expected to be on the mound for the Pirates (38-46) against Philadelphia’s Ben Lively (1-3; 3.72 ERA).
