PGA Rookie Wins RSM Classic By Four Strokes

PGA Tour rookie Austin Cook recorded scores of 66 and 67 in a tournament-closing 36 hole finale on Sunday to win by four strokes at the RSM Classic at the Sea Island Golf Club in Georgia.

Propelled by his 62 in Friday’s second round, Cook posted a four-day total of 21-under-par 262 and won $1.116 million.

J.J. Spaun finished second, with Brian Gay another stroke behind.  Four golfers – Brian Harman, Kevin Kisner, Chris Kirk and Andrew Landry – tied for fourth place at 14-under-par.
