Pens Lose Road Trip Finale Due To Boeser’s Hat Trick

The Pittsburgh Penguins ended their longest road trip of this season with a 1-3-1 record, giving up a hat trick to Brock Boeser in a 4-2 loss to the Canucks in Vancouver on Saturday night.

Bo Horvat also scored for Vancouver (7-4-2), and assisted on all three of Boeser’ goals.  Jacob Markstrom stopped 37 of Pittsburgh’s 39 shots.

Jake Guentzel and Greg McKegg scored for the Penguins (8-6-2).  Matt Murray faced just 21 shots, but stopped only 17.

Pittsburgh will return home to face Arizona on Tuesday night.  Radio pregame time on 96.3 KQW will be 6:30 PM.
