Pens Lose Friday Afternoon Game 4-3 In Boston

The Pittsburgh Penguins rebounded Friday afternoon from deficits of 2-0 and 3-1, and tied their game in Boston at 3-3, but the Bruins’ David Pastrnak scored the go-ahead goal with 15:54 remaining to give Boston a 4-3 victory.

Jake Guentzel, Phil Kessel and Sidney Crosby scored for Pittsburgh (11-10-3), who lost their third game in a row for the first time this season.  Goaltender Matt Murray (11-7-1) stopped 29-of-33 shots.

David Krejci, Sean Kuraly and Matt Grzelcyk were the other scorers for Boston (10-7-4).  The winning goaltender was Anton Khudobin (7-0-2).

The Penguins will host Tampa Bay at 7:00 PM Saturday night.  Live coverage will begin on 96.3 KQW immediately following the Penn State/Maryland football game.
