Pens Lose 4-1 in Washington

Braden Holtby stopped 27 of 28 shots on Friday night to pick up his 200th NHL victory in Washington’s 4-1 home win over the Pittsburgh Penguins (9-7-2).

Playing on the road for the 12th time in the 17 games they have played this season, the Penguins managed only a second-period goal by Phil Kessel.  Pittsburgh goaltender Matt Murray (9-3-1) also made 27 saves.

John Carlson, T.J. Oshie, Chandler Stephenson and Jakub Vrana scored for the Capitals.

The Pens will play at Nashville on Saturday night.  Radio pregame time on 96.3 KQW will be 7:30 PM.
