The New Jersey Devils ended the Pittsburgh Penguins’ winning streak with a 3-1 win in Newark on Saturday afternoon, and then duplicated the feat with a Sunday night win by the identical score in Pittsburgh.

Matteau, Henrique and Butler found the net for the Devils (8-1-3) on Saturday, while David Clarkson scored twice and Ilya Lovalchuk added a goal in Sunday’s contest.  Martin Brodeur (6-1-2) earned the win in goal on Saturday with 24 stops on 25 shots, and former Penguin Johan Hedberg (23-of-24) posted the win on Sunday and improved to 2-0-1.

Brandon Sutter scored the lone Saturday goal for Pittsburgh (8-5), and James Neal recorded his 8th goal of the season on Sunday.  Marc-Andre Fleury (5-3) was the losing goalie in Saturday, and Tomas Vokoun (3-2) took the loss the following night.

The Penguins will host the Ottawa Senators at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, and 96.3 KQW will air the game, starting in progress, immediately following coverage of high school wrestling (Cranberry at Franklin).
