The National Hockey League has announced that the Eastern Conference finals between the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Boston Bruins will begin Saturday night at Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh.
Game two, also in Pittsburgh, will be contested on Monday night before the series will move to Boston for games three and four next Wednesday and Friday, June 5 and June 7. Each of the first four games will begin at 8:00 PM. Radio pregame airtimes on 96.3 KQW are scheduled for 7:30 PM.
The games will be scheduled for alternating night, with the exceptions of possible games six and seven which would be scheduled back-to-back on June 11 and June 12, if the series were to go a full seven games.
