The Pennsylvania Board of Game Commissioners has approved the appointment of a new executive director.
Matthew Hough assumes his duties on Friday (Jan. 17). He replaces Carl Roe, whose retirement becomes effective on the same day.
Hough is a Washington County native who now lives in Adams County. He has been with the Game Commission for 33 years, and has served as the commission’s deputy executive director since 2010.
After his long tenure, Hough also has tentative retirement plans. The commission’s board members say they are continuing their search for a future replacement.
