PennDOT announced Wednesday they will transfer money through savings realized in the successful bid for the Emlenton Hill road realignment job to numerous paving projects in the Oil City area.

It is expected the work will actually be done next year.

A PennDOT release issued Wednesday listed the Oil City streets slated for milling, paving, curb and ramp work as Central Avenue, Seneca, Elm and Duncomb Streets, Colbert Avenue, West Seventh Street and Lynch Boulevard.  The project will also include milling and paving work on Route 8 between the new McClintock Bridge and the Route 227 intersection in Rouseville.
