State transportation officials are asking the public for input on long-range planning efforts.

PennDOT is updating its Long Range Transportation Plan while, at the same time, developing the state’s first Comprehensive Freight Movement Plan.  We are being asked to help identify the state’s transportation priorities among all assets from freight connections to pedestrian and bicycle facilities, and identify project needs that address bridges, traffic congestion, mass transit and other issues.

PennDOT spokesperson Erin Waters-Trasatt says the online survey should only take a couple of minutes to complete.  It can be found at paontrack.com.  You should fill out the survey by May 30.
