Penn State Snaps Two-Game Losing Streak; Beat Rutgers 35-6

The Penn State Nittany Lions spotted Rutgers a 6-0 lead before storming back to win 35-6, snapping a two-game losing streak in a contest played Saturday afternoon at Beaver Stadium.

Penn State quarterback Trace McSorley threw for two touchdowns and ran for a third, becoming the school’s all-time touchdown leader with 68.  McSorley threw for 214 yards, completing 16-of-21 passes, and ran for 44 more yards.

Saquon Barkley rushed for only 35 yards, but scored twice.  DaeSean Hamilton and Mike Gesicki both caught touchdown passes.

Penn State (8-2; 5-2 Big Ten) will host Nebraska (4-6; 3-4 Big Ten) in the Nittany Lions’ 2017 home finale on Saturday at 4:00 PM.  Radio pregame airtime on 96,3 KQW will be 2:30 PM.
