Trace McSorley threw for two touchdowns and ran for another, and backup quarterback Tommy Stevens ran for 113 yards and three scores as Penn State routed Maryland 66-3 in their regular season finale on Saturday afternoon in College Park, Maryland.

As the starting QB, McSorley completed 22-of-33 passes for 237 yards, and added 36 yards on the ground on seven carries.

The Nittany Lions (10-2; 7-2 Big Ten) now await next Sunday’s announcement concerning their bowl game assignment.

For Maryland (4-8; 2-7 Big Ten), D.J. Moore became only the third 1,000-yard receiver, catching eight passes for 100 yards and setting a new school single-season mark with 80 receptions, breaking Geroy Simon’s 1994 record of 77.
