The Pittsburgh Penguins outshot the Columbus Blue Jackets 51-24 on Saturday night, and posted a 3-1 win in game five of their opening-round Stanley Cup playoff series, taking a 3-games-to-2 lead in the best-of-seven affair.

Pittsburgh can move on to the second round of postseason play by winning at Columbus in game six on Monday night.  Faceoff time is scheduled for 7:00 PM, and the radio pregame broadcast will begin at 6:30 PM on 96.3 KQW.  If a seventh game is needed, it would be played in Pittsburgh on Wednesday night.

Chris Kunitz, Jussi Jokinen and Kris Letang scored for Pittsburgh on Saturday.  Marc-Andre Fleury earned the win with 23 saves.  For Columbus, rookie Boone Jenner scored.  Sergei Bobrovsky took the loss.

After losing 13 of 19 first-period faceoffs, the Pens responded with 25 faceoff wins in 35 opportunities the rest of the way in Saturday’s contest at Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh.
