Brandon Sutter scored the only goal for Pittsburgh on Monday night, and the Penguins lost a 4-1 decision to the Detroit Red Wings at Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, dropping to 0-2 in NHL preseason play.

Tomas Vokoun started in goal for Pittsburgh, and allowed all four Detroit goals over the first two periods.

Adam Almquist scored twice for the Red Wings, both times on power play goals in the second period.  Paval Datsyuk and Tomas Tatar also found the net for Detroit.

The Penguins will next meet the Blackhawks.  That game will be played Thursday night in Chicago.
