Penguins Lose In Shootout In Nashville

The Nashville Predators won a 2-to-1 shootout on their home ice on Saturday night to defeat the Pittsburgh Penguins 5-4.

Sidney Crosby was the only Pittsburgh player to score in the shootout.

The Penguins’ Brian Dumoulin had tied the game at 4-4 with 7:43 remaining in regulation play.  Bryan Rust, Phil Kessel and Jake Guentzel also scored for Pittsburgh.

Kyle Turris, playing for Nashville for the first time since his acquisition from Ottawa in a trade earlier in the week, scored a goal and added an assist for the Predators.

The Penguins will host Buffalo on Tuesday night.  Radio pregame airtime on 96.3 KQW will be 6:30 PM.
