Penguins Close .500 Preseason With 5-1 Win At Detroit

Chris Kunitz scored twice Wednesday night, and teammates Pascal Dupuis, Jussi Jokinen and Craig Adams added goals as the Pittsburgh Penguins closed their NHL preseason schedule with a 3-3 record by beating the Red Wings 5-1 at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit.

Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin both recorded two assists.  Drew Miller scored for Detroit.

The Penguins will begin their regular season schedule on Thursday, October 3 with a home game against the New Jersey Devils.
