A Cambridge Springs woman was taken to an Erie hospital after she was struck by a car at an intersection in Titusville on Sunday afternoon.
58 year-old Jann Sprague is listed in fair condition. Sprague’s husband, who was crossing the street with his wife, was not injured.
Titusville City police say the incident happened shortly before 4:30 PM Sunday at the intersection of Diamond and Franklin Streets in Titusville. Reports indicate that a car driven by 54 year-old Kelvin Atkins, from Pleasantville, pulled from a traffic light onto Diamond Street and struck Mrs. Sprague. The victim reportedly was thrown onto the vehicle’s hood and windshield, and then back onto the street.
Another driver was forced to hastily hit the brakes to avoid hitting Mrs. Sprague while she was lying on the pavement.
