As of Thursday afternoon, Pennsylvania Lottery officials were reporting that fewer than 30,000 tickets remained in the lottery’s latest Millionaire Raffle. The drawing for the game’s 6,000 prizes will be Saturday night (July 6).
About twice a year, the lottery sells a maximum of 500,000 tickets, and draws several thousand cash prizes which may only be won by holders of the 20-dollar tickets.
This time, four one million dollar prizes will be awarded, along with four prizes worth $100,000 apiece, one hundred for one thousand dollars each, and 5,892 prizes of one hundred dollars for a total payout of $5,089,000.
The ticket sales deadline is posted as 5:00 PM Saturday (July 6), but lottery officials remind us that, in all previous Millionaire Raffles, the supply of tickets has been depleted before the scheduled deadline.
