The annual Oil Region Indie Music Festival will be held this Friday evening (June 14) on Oil City’s North Side.

The number of venues, on and around Seneca Street in Oil City, has been expanded this year from five to nine, and some 40 music acts have been booked for those nine stages.  Other entertainment will include comedy, a street fair and trolley rides.  The events are free, although donations for the festival will be collected throughout the evening.

Most of the activities are scheduled between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM.  Automobile traffic will be detoured around the 200-block of Seneca Street, beginning at 4:00 PM.

More information is available on the festival’s Facebook page, and at oilregionindie.bandcamp.com
