An Oil City woman was bound over for trial Wednesday on charges connected with the theft of a chihuahua dog just before Christmas.
25 year-old Phylisha Rankin was charged with burglary and theft in the disappearance of a $400 chihuahua from a residence on Breedtown Road in Cherrytree Township. Rankin reportedly had previously been at the address with another woman who had put up a down payment on another dog.
Rankin faces trial in Venango Count Court. No trial date was set.
