Between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM, numerous cars had their tires slashed, and were damaged by being “keyed.” By midday, damages in the cases that had been reported had topped an estimated $1,500.
Police also called out the Oil City Fire Department after they encountered what they are terming “an actively burning trash can fire.”
The incidents were spread out between East Second Street and East Seventh Street.
