An Oil City man has been sentenced to one-to-two years in jail after his guilty plea to a reduced charge in a case in which he had been accused of physically assaulting a woman over a period of three days.
The victim had claimed that 39 year-old Frank Glas had repeatedly hit and choked her over a three-day period in early February at a residence on Crawford Street. The woman said Glas had struck her with his car as he left the residence, and had taken several of her personal items with him.
In a plea bargain, charges of assault and harassment, and counts of drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia against Glas were dismissed. He will be credited with approximately four months time already served.
