Police officials say they now believe that an Oil City man who has already been charged in early morning burglaries in Seneca and Franklin is responsible for a break-in at a rental center in Sugarcreek Borough the same night.
The three incidents occurred in a span of just over an hour-and-a-half early last Friday morning.
Sugarcreek Borough Police on Thursday charged 42 year-old Lawrence Henderson with burglary and criminal mischief in a break-in at a rental business in the Sugarcreek Town Square Plaza. Nothing was taken in the incident.
Police believe the Sugarcreek Borough incident occurred midway between a 12:25 AM burglary at a computer business on Route 257 in Seneca and a 2:00 AM break-in at an audio shop near Coefield Corners in Franklin. Henderson is accused of stealing two computers in the Seneca incident and an audio speaker in the Franklin burglary.
Henderson has been lodged on $50,000 bail in the Venango County Jail in Franklin since his arraignment Saturday on the Seneca charges. He was charged Tuesday in the Franklin burglary.
