An Oil City man was arrested Monday afternoon and was charged with multiple counts in an investigation into the alleged sexual assault of three young girls.
Oil City Police say 64 year-old Richard Keltz was arraigned on eleven charges, including one count of the rape of a child, and was lodged in the Venango County Jail with bail set at $250,000.
Investigators list the alleged victims’ ages as eight, eleven and twelve, and say the charges stem from incidents reported to have occurred between 2011 and January of this year.
Other charges include indecent assault, aggravated indecent assault and unlawful contact with minors. Keltz faces a preliminary hearing scheduled for May 7.
