An Oil City man has been charged after he allegedly stabbed another man during a fight on Oil City’s South Side over the weekend.
Oil City Police say the incident occurred in the 100-block of West Fourth Street.
Investigators say 20 year-old Marquise McCool is accused of stabbing another man in the chest and in an arm. The condition of the alleged victim was not immediately available.
McCool reportedly has been charged with both aggravated and simple assault, and with reckless endangerment, harassment and disorderly conduct. He was lodged in the Venango County Jail in lieu of bail with a preliminary hearing scheduled for June 12.
