An Oil City man has been acquitted by a Wisconsin court jury on charges connected with a child sexual assault investigation.
36 year-old Michael Poch was found not guilty last week of charges of the sexual assault of a person under 12, and victim intimidation.
Poch was arrested in Oil City in January, and was charged in an alleged 2010 incident in Langlade County, Wisconsin, where he had lived before moving to Pennsylvania.
Wisconsin media reports indicate that the investigation began when a young girl’s mother discovered what she considered incriminating evidence contained in a letter her daughter had written.
