Fire officials have declared an Oil City home ravaged by fire early Sunday morning a total loss.
Fire destroyed the Gregory Long residence on the 100-block of West Third Street. Long was not home at the time.
Oil City, Seneca and Cornplanter firefighters responded to the Long residence shortly after 4:30 AM Sunday. Crews were on the scene until nearly noontime.
Reports now indicate that two firefighters received minor injuries while they were battling the blaze. A State Police fire marshal will investigate the cause.
