Two people were injured, and a driver from Ohio faces charges in a one-vehicle accident that occurred on Sunday evening in northern Venango County.

State Police say that a car driven by 34 year-old Bradley Russell, from Hilliard, Ohio, slid off Route 27 in Plum Township and struck a large tree.

Troopers told KQW that Russell was injured, although they did not know the degree of his injuries.  Meanwhile, a passenger identified as 40 year-old Gina France, from Conneaut Lake, was rushed to Titusville Area Hospital.

Police say Russell is not properly licensed, and that other charges will include aggravated assault by vehicle while driving under the influence.
