An annual report says 111 law enforcement officers died in the line of duty around the country last year.

That number represents an eight percent decline from the previous year, and it marks the second straight year in which the number of fatalities has dropped.

Craig Floyd, representing the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund in Washington, D.C., says four officers died in the line of duty in Pennsylvania last year.
