The Clarion County District Attorney’s office announced Friday that nineteen warrants were issued in one day for suspects in various drug investigations, and that thirteen arrests were made on Friday alone.
Fourteen of the suspects are from Clarion County, two are from Forest County, two reside in Jefferson County, and one is from Pittsburgh. Charges against each include either the delivery of, conspiracy to deliver, or the attempted delivery of controlled substances. The drugs in question range from heroin to crack cocaine, bath salts to marijuana, and prescription medications.
The alleged offenses occurred between December, 2012 and January of this year.
Combining to serve the warrants were Pennsylvania State Police troopers, police officers from Clarion, Knox and the Southern Clarion County Regional Police force, and CNET – the Clarion Narcotics Enforcement Team.
