A Nickleville-area man entered a guilty plea this week to the charge of the possession of child pornography.
25 year-old Shane Niederriter had been charged with 25 counts in an investigation that began when a woman from the Knox area complained to police that a man had been repeatedly calling her and asking for pictures of her 20 month-old daughter. Police later said Niederriter had been making the calls and was claiming to be a representative of a talent and modeling agency in Pittsburgh.
The state Attorney General’s office said investigators looking into the incident found images of child pornography on Niederriter’s computer.
Niederriter was charged in early February. A sentencing date has not yet been set.
