A Brooklyn, New York man was hospitalized in Clarion after an incident on Interstate 80 in which his car was dragged for about one-tenth of a mile by a tractor-trailer.
State Police say 33 year-old Nukri Tsotsoria was traveling at an apparent high rate of speed in the right lane of westbound travel when a tractor-trailer in the left lane began to move to its right. Troopers say Tsotsoria did not slow down, and clipped the big rig with a right fender. The two vehicles connected, and Tsotsoria’s car was dragged down the highway until the tractor-trailer could come to a stop.
Tsotsoria was transported to Clarion Hospital. No report was given as to the extent of his injuries.
The driver of the tractor-trailer, 53 year-old Alfred Haynes, from Lakeland, Florida, was not injured.
