National Fuel Gas has announced that their gas supply charge for their customers is dropping by about 5.2 percent, effective November 1.
The company says that means their “typical” residential customer will now pay $75.60 per month, on average, down from $79.73. The new rates are reflective of the latest quarterly adjustment to National Fuel’s gas supply charge.
The company is required to pass on to its customers any increase or decrease in the price they pay for the natural gas they supply, without mark-up or profit. They are allowed to revise their annual cost projections on a quarterly basis.
