No one was home Monday morning when a fire swept through the residence of a family of four in Cherrytree Township.
Firefighters from five companies responded shortly before 10:30 AM to a home on Sopher Road after the blaze was spotted by a neighbor. They remained on the scene for more than four hours, but the house was declared a total loss.
Officials identified the owners as Benjamin and Jennifer Mallory. No damage estimate was listed.
