The Pennsylvania Lottery says sales of tickets in their latest Millionaire Raffle have passed the halfway mark with about two-and-a-half weeks remaining until the raffle’s drawings.
About twice a year, lottery officials sell a maximum of 500,000 tickets, cut off sales at a half-million, and give away multiple first prizes of one million dollars. Tickets cost 20 dollars.
This time four people will win a million dollars, four will take home $100,000, one hundred people will win $1,000, and 5,892 will pocket $100 for a total prize payout of $5.089 million.
The next drawings are scheduled for July 6.
