A truck driver from Michigan faces multiple charges, including driving under the influence, after he was arrested in an Interstate 80 work zone through which State Police say they saw his rig plow early Tuesday morning.

Troopers say 29 year-old Taran Singh, from Canton, Michigan, was arrested after a crash shortly before 2:00 AM Tuesday on the eastbound lanes of I-80 in Beaver Township near Knox.  Police say they witnessed Singh’s tractor-trailer swerve through numerous road cones before it crashed into a set of guide rails.

Court reports indicate that officials had to find an interpreter for Singh, along with a pair of Clarion County Jail pants.  Singh had reportedly been taken to his early morning arraignment while he was wearing only a T-shirt and boxer shorts.
