Michigan Man Dies In Interstate 80 Crash

Accident investigators are blaming a fatal accident on Interstate 80 early Wednesday morning on a tractor-trailer rig which was traveling with three deflated trailer tires and no rear trailer lights

The State Police say 55 year-old Karl Holder, from Lansing, Michigan died after his minivan slammed into the rear of the trailer.  The incident happened around 3:30 AM Wednesday in the eastbound lanes of I-80 between the Grove City and Barkeyville exits.  The highway was closed and traffic was detoured until early afternoon.

Holder was pronounced dead a little more than an hour after the crash at Grove City Medical Center.

Troopers identified the driver of the tractor-trailer unit as 55 year-old Wilfredo Suarez, from Clifton, New Jersey, and say their investigation into the fatal crash is continuing.
