The State Police in Mercer County have released information on a serious motor vehicle accident that occurred right at their station in Jackson Center early Sunday morning.
A trooper’s report indicates that a Mercer County man, identified as 26 year-old Joshua Davis, was traveling at a high rate of speed on Route 62 at about 2:00 AM Sunday when his vehicle left the highway, hit a road sign and a utility pole, and was propelled into the entrance of the State Police station.
Davis was ejected from his vehicle. He was immediately transported to a Youngstown Hospital. No medical report was available.
