Sugarcreek Borough Police are looking for someone who donated items to the local Salvation Army collection facility.

That’s because Salvation Army workers discovered, amid one set of donated items, a “baggie” containing what is suspected to be marijuana.  It is believed the contraband was included in a donation of items dropped off Tuesday at the Salvation Army operations on Route 8 in Sugarcreek Borough.

Police officials advise anyone who is genuinely attempting to dispose of someone’s illegal drugs to take them to police headquarters.  Meanwhile, anyone with any information on this matter should contact the Sugarcreek Borough Police at 437 – 3703.
