The March of Dimes is observing its 75th anniversary, and the organization’s largest fundraisers, the March for Babies events, will be held in the upcoming weeks.
The March for Babies involves nearly 20,000 companies, nine national corporations and 7-million people. Carol Evans, the president of Working Mother Media and a vice chairperson for the March of Dimes Board of Trustees, tells Radio PA News that the number of pre-term births is falling, and they would like to see the number drop even lower.
Most events are scheduled for the weekend of April 27 and 28, but the Oil Region Walk will be held on Saturday, April 20, and the Clarion walk is set for Sunday, May 5.
