A 25 year-old man was jailed late Thursday after he allegedly threw rocks at a home in Emlenton and reportedly fled from police when they arrived on the scene.

State Police officials say David Bartley was asked to leave a residence on Myrtle Street in Emlenton Borough late Thursday afternoon by a 93 year-old man and a 76 year-old woman who are listed as the victims in the case.

Investigators say Bartley became agitated, began throwing rocks at the victims’ residence and then started kicking at a door.

Police say Bartley fled the scene when they arrived, and was later located in the parking area at the Emlenton Bike Trail.

Bartley was arraigned in the Oil City area, and was placed in the Venango County Jail on $100,000 bond.
