The death of a Slippery Rock man on Monday afternoon has been blamed on a fall through the glass door of a sub shop on Main Street in that community.
Investigators say 69 year-old Glen Brunken stumbled as he prepared to enter the restaurant. Apparently, Brunken fell through a glass window and slashed his neck.
Brunken, a retired Slippery Rock University art professor, was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital, and was pronounced dead later in the day. Owners have temporarily closed the sub shop until further notice.
