November 17, 2017
By

Franklin’s annual Light-Up Night arrives Saturday, November 18.  The event has grown into a daylong festival.

The downtown Franklin stores will kick off the Christmas season on Saturday from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM.

Other daytime activities will include the grand opening of the Christmas Tree Extravaganza at the Barrow-Civic Theatre, the Franklin Public Library’s Christmas Cookie Walk and tours of DeBence Antique Music World Museum.

The First Presbyterian Church at the corner of Elk and West Park Streets will hold their annual Living Nativity from 4:00 PM until 5:30 PM.

Santa Claus will visit the Barrow Little Theatre from 4:00 PM until 5:30 PM – just before his participation in the popular Electric Lights Parade which will begin at 6:00 PM.  Following the parade, the Franklin High School Madrigal Singers will perform, prior to the lighting of Franklin’s community Christmas Tree.

The entire day will be climaxed by a “Fireworks Extravaganza.”
