Leafs Grab 4-3 Win In Pittsburgh

The Toronto Maple Leafs (20-10-1) scored three times in the first period in Pittsburgh on Saturday night on the way to a 4-3 NHL victory over the Penguins.

Goals by Conner Brown, James van Riemsdyk and Tyler Bozak put Pittsburgh into an early hole.  Bozak scored again late in the second period, and Leafs goaltender stopped 33 Pittsburgh shots to earn the win.

Evgeni Malkin, Riley Sheahan and Sidney Crosby scored goals for the Penguins.  Tristan Jarry started in goal for Pittsburgh, but was replaced by Casey DeSmith after allowing three goals in the initial period.

Pittsburgh (16-12-3) will finish a five-game homestand on Monday night against the Colorado Avalanche (13-13-2).  Radio pregame airtime on 96.3 KQW will be 6:30 PM.
