Chris Kunitz scored a pair of goals, and Ollie Maatta scored on a penalty shot as the Pittsburgh Penguins recorded their season-high sixth consecutive victory, and their 11th in their last 12 games, beating the Minnesota Wild 5-2 on Thursday night at Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh.
Brandon Sutter and Matt Niskanen also scored for Pittsburgh (26-10-1), and rookie goaltender Jeff Zatkoff (6-2) won his sixth consecutive start. Sidney Crosby tallied two assists, and raised his league-leading points total to 51.

The Penguins will return to action at 1:00 PM on Saturday afternoon with a matchup against the Calgary Flames (13-16-6). Radio pregame airtime on 96.3 KQW will be 12:30 PM.
