A Knox woman was rushed to a Pittsburgh hospital on Monday morning following a two-vehicle accident on an icy road in Salem Township in northern Clarion County.
State Police say 59 year-old Susan Thompson lost control of her car on a downhill curve on Route 208. Reports indicate the car slid into the opposite lane and collided with an S-U-V.
Thompson’s injuries were described as “major.” The driver of the S-U-V, 55 year-old Lori Grunnick, also from Knox, was treated at Clarion Hospital and was released.
