A young Kennerdell man died Tuesday night when the S-U-V on which he was working fell on him.
The State Police say 18 year-old Carl Wickline had been working under the vehicle, trying to remove the transmission as part of a school project, when the jacks gave way, and he became trapped under the vehicle. Wickline’s body was not discovered until about 6:00 AM Wednesday morning.
Venango County Coroner Tyler Best ruled the cause of death as ashphyxiation due to blunt force trauma.
State Police officials from the Franklin station in Cranberry Township are investigating.
