Mercer County officials say a Kennerdell-area man has been charged in a trio of burglaries in the Grove City area.
Court records show that 36 year-old Anthony Healey is accused of taking nearly $3,700 worth of merchandise from a paint and hardware store, and more than $1,500 worth of items during two burglaries at a supermarket. The incidents occurred in September and October of 2012.
Healey has been charged with three counts of burglary and three counts of theft by unlawful taking.
He was lodged in the Mercer County Jail on $25,000 bail, and faces a January preliminary hearing.
In October, Healey was sentenced in Venango County Court to a term in state prison for a break-in at a Scrubgrass Township auto repair shop, a burglary in Sugarcreek Borough and for the operation of a methamphetamine lab that had reportedly been run out of his home.
