Kasey Kahne passed Jeff Gordon with two laps remaining on Sunday, and went on to win the GoBowling.com 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Pocono International Raceway in Long Pond.

It was Kahne’s second Sprint Cup victory of the season, while Gordon remains winless.

Kahne had led by eight seconds until a caution lap for debris came out with 12 laps remaining.  Gordon then grabbed the lead, only to be passed by Kahne after another caution with four laps left, due to a spin-out by Matt Kenseth.  Kurt Busch, who like Gordon was celebrating his birthday, finished third.  Series points standings leader Jimmie Johnson finished 13th after a blowout forced him from the lead.
